Each Tuesday during the legislative session local partnerships come to Raleigh to educate lawmakers on Smart Start and to discuss important issues relating to young children and their families.<BR><BR>No other organization in the state has this kind of weekly presence at the legislature. The advocacy of early education advocates sends an important message to legislators about the commitment North Carolinians have to young children.<BR><BR>Each local Smart Start partnership picks a Tuesday during the legislative session to come to Raleigh.
